USPA NEWS - PRINCE RAINIER III always had a passion for automobiles, and over a period of more than thirty years, he built up an exceptional Personal Collection of Historic Cars. This Automobile Museum is situated in the Fontvieille District of MONACO....

PRINCE RAINIER III always had a passion for automobiles, and over a period of more than thirty years, he built up an Exceptional Personal Collection of Historic Cars. This Automobile Museum 'FIA Heritage Museums' is situated in the Fontvieille District of MONACO. The Collection contains more than one hundred classic cars made in Europe and the United States. Thirty Eight cars from the collection were put up for Auction in 2012 due to PRINCE ALBERT II's desire to re-organize and expand the collection.

The full collection is now displayed, as envisaged by PRINCE RAINIER, on Five Levels of specially tailored Exhibit Space overlooking the Terrasses de Fontvieille at the Foot of the Rocher. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is a non-profit making association dedicated to representing the rights of Motoring Organisations and Motor Car users throughout the World. It is also the Governing Body for Motor Sport Worldwide.
